If you think Samsung Display use the same AMOLED Display with Diamond pixel matrix like the S4 just a bit bigger. NO YOU ARE WRONG! The Galaxys S5 OLED from Samsung Display was tested on a extensive lab tests and measurments. And the conclusion is that this OLED is the best smartphone display the lab ever tested.
The Display has improved the brigthness, lowest reflectance, Highest color Accuraacy, Infinite contrast ratio, smallest brigthness variation with Viewing Angle, Highest Contrast rating in Ambient light!
The S5 has a Full HD resolution 1920×1080 Pixel resolution like the Galaxy S4. Our industry insider thinks that later this year we will see a Galaxy S5 Premium/Prime with 2.5K 2560×1440 pixels.

22 percent more brigthness but the S5 need the same power like the S4. And there is another thing the display is 4 percent larger! Which are 27 percent improved power efficiency over the S4. The professional Photo mode simulate the Adobe RGB Gamut which is 17 percent larger than Standard SRGB.The Adobe RGB Gamut will be used also in high-end digital cameras.
Diamond Pixels Pixel Matrix
The S5 and S4 pixel matrix hast the Diamond Pixel Matrix instead of Pentile. Every Sub-pixel have different sizes the reason is the organic material. Green organic material has the smallest size because this material has the highest efficiency. This alignment reduce aliasing and artifacts and suggest to improve the pixel per inch.

Samsung Display confirmed the results of the lab and showcased the advantages in their blog in new graphics.
Samsung says that the S5 has a brightness from 351 cd/m² the Note3 310 cd/m² and the Galaxy S4 287 cd/m².
Samsung Display confirmed also major improvement in direct sunlight outdoor using. If you use the S5 in direct sunlight the display can achieve a brightness from about 698cd/m². Samsung Display also confirmed that the S5 use the Diamond Pixel Sub-Pixel Matrix to achieve 432 ppi.
The Display Power efficiency is also a major point for the user, for the first time the S5 has a better power efficiency than a LCD Display with the same size. If we compare the S4 against the S5 you will get a improvement from about 27 percent.
